Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Runn mobile application (“App”) operated by Thor Remiendo (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Runn. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. We may terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • Not share your account or allow others to access it.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • Not create accounts to circumvent a suspension or ban.

3. User-generated content

Runn allows you to post runs, photos, comments, and other content (“Content”). You retain ownership of your Content. By posting Content you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it within the App.

You are solely responsible for the Content you post. You agree not to post Content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory.
  • Contains nudity, graphic violence, or sexually explicit material.
  • Constitutes spam, misinformation, or deceptive content.
  • Infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Impersonates any person or entity.

4. Community guidelines and moderation

Runn is a community for runners. We expect all users to treat each other with respect.

You can report Content or users that violate these Terms using the flag icon on any post or the block option on any profile. We review all reports and will act within 24 hours. Actions we may take include removing Content, suspending accounts, or permanently banning users who repeatedly violate these Terms.

You can block any user from your profile. Blocking a user removes them from your feed and prevents them from seeing your activity. You can manage and reverse blocks at any time from Settings → Blocked Users.

5. Subscriptions

Runn offers an optional premium subscription (“Runn Premium”) that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
  • No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period, except as required by law.
  • A 1-month free trial is offered to new Annual subscribers. You will not be charged until the trial ends.

6. Intellectual property

All App code, design, graphics, and branding are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written consent.

7. Disclaimers

Runn is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that GPS tracking will be perfectly accurate in all conditions.

Running and physical exercise carry inherent risks. Runn does not provide medical advice. Consult a qualified health professional before beginning any exercise programme. You use the App and participate in physical activity at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or property damage.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Upon termination, your Content will be removed within 30 days.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. We will notify you of material changes via a notice in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
